Your weekly Ecstatic Dance in Montreal!
Ecstatic Dance is an invitation to immerse ourselves in the music and let our body respond to it freely. It’s way to connect with the body and the present moment, to release stress and tension, and to tap into a sense of joy and well-being. It’s open to anyone, and it offers a unique and powerful way to connect with oneself and with the collective energy of the group.
Marianne, your dancing host, receives different DJ’s and artists each week, to create a unique musical and embodied journey. Doors opens at 7pm for social, opening circle at 7.30pm. Be there on time!

Friday May 3rd ∞ Being Sound by Keena Maya and Joro-Boro (NY)
Keena Maya's sound is deep incantations, drawing us into our roots, grounding us and invoking the deity within us to rise. A DJ and instrumentalist, her BASS BLISS sets are felt as much as heard. She's a resident DJ of Ecstatic Dance NYC.
Joro-Boro explores genres that meld cultural influences and sounds bending the archaic and futuristic. His sets offer a profound musical journey, connecting us to the origins of sound energy and beyond.
Together, they present "Being Sound," a live electronic project merging acoustic instruments and electronic hardware to create transcendent bass rituals. First time in Montreal!

Friday May 10th ∞ Multi Culti
Co-founder of Plein Soleil, Multi Culti is a Montreal-based musical movement, record label, and visual design studio (also responsible for the Plein Soleil flyers and visuals). It’s a project that has taken many forms, but centres on an open-minded approach of intentional inclusivity and consciousness-expanding maximalism. It is an invitation to re-imagine the boundaries of self and other, to multiply the mind.

Enter a sonic melting pot laboratory blending electronic music with sounds inspired by folkloric traditions and world cultures. Don invites you to journey into a mystical universe where boundaries dissolve, the ancient and the modern collide, leading dancers into a cosmic dance from which they emerge transformed forever.

Somewhere between rhythmic organic house and hypnotic minimalist techno, Fränze's DJ sets invite you into a joyful trance. Composer, DJ and sound designer for more than 10 years, she draws inspiration from contrasts to create atmospheres that are bewitching, punchy... and ecstatic!
Her sister Regina, eclectic artist and musician with multiple grooves, orchestra and rhythm women for more than 10 years too, who will ignite the dance floor with her vibrant percussion and live music.

Little Bang is a musician, Dj, inventor, mystic and innovator in the world of Ecstatic Dance. One of is mission is to create moment of cohesion, where one feels more united with others and oneself. His shares his magic in raves as well as in temples, but it’s in “Ecstatic Dance mode” that he will be present at Plein Soleil. A hybrid free dance where the dance floor becomes the takeoff runaway for an unimaginable adventure, set to be soundtrack that inspires to move in many ways. In otther words, a DJ set of Afro Brazilo Bass House, with touches of countless cultures, juicy drops and a wide range of emotions. Music to make you feel home inside yourself.
