Electrojazziness & Lucie Martel
Electrojazziness is a genre-defying improvisational project fusing jazz, electronic, freestyle, and experimental music into an electrifying live experience. The neurodivergent duo brings together jazz pianist Alex McNally-Gagnon (Montréal, QC) and producer/vocalist Sami Majadla (Nelson, BC/Palestine), two lifelong improvisers from distinct musical backgrounds.
All performances are 100% improvised, without computers or backing tracks. Piano, synths, electronic beats, and freestyle vocals are composed and looped live, creating rich, evolving soundscapes shaped by audience interaction. Each performance is a one-of-a-kind journey that will never be repeated.
Founded as a street performance project in Montréal in 2024, Electrojazziness toured British Columbia in 2025 with 15 grant-supported shows across festivals, art centres, and dance venues. A Québec tour is planned for summer 2026. Rooted in jazz tradition yet boldly exploratory, the project delivers playful, inclusive performances that invite audiences into the creative process.
Lucie Martel, will be joining them with her beautiful singing.
