We are happy to share this beautiful event curated by Multi Culti.
The first in a series of multi-generational gatherings at Space Garage
On Saturday, October 10th, from 3pm until 11pm, bring your kids, your parents, and whatever's left of your inner child for an afternoon-into-evening of deep listening, open-floor dancing, and one (1) gender reveal.
Presiding over the frequencies: a truly special secret guest DJ, whose identity we are contractually, cosmically, and a little bit theatrically forbidden to reveal. Also: resident DJ and father-to-be Thomas Von Party, playing possibly his last set before he learns what sleep deprivation really means.
There will be treats, tea, and surprises, one of which is either shocking pink or Yves Klein blue. Bring food and drink to share. We're aiming for an atmosphere of wholesome warmth, the kind of room where a six-year-old and a sixty-year-old can lock eyes across the dancefloor and soberly gurn at each other.
Peace, love, unity, respect. Naps, snacks, repeat.
Sound levels will sit somewhere between "transcendent" and "your paediatrician would approve." The room is full of cables and gear, and toddlers are fast, so we lovingly urge parents to keep a close watch on their little ones.
Consider the grandmother. Consider the toddler. Consider that both are, in their own way, deeply unbothered by what anyone thinks of their moves. This is the ecstatic truth we propose to honour.
