OVEOUS IN MONTREAL ∞ Ancestral Afro House Ecstatic Sunday
Yes — we’re back for a full-on Sunday gathering, this time with a new concept bringing together two communities we love: the house (Afro house) dance world and the Ecstatic Dance family.
A beautiful way to celebrate the first Sunday of spring — with rhythm, connection, and a dancefloor open to all.
For this special edition, we welcome OVEOUS for the very first time in Montréal.
Born and raised in NYC, OVEOUS is an artist in every sense of the word, igniting international stages with his HYPERSOUL & HYPERANCESTRAL sounds, where the essence of house music meets Afro-soul rhythms, tribal textures, and poetic melodies. Rooted in poetry, he blends voice and music to create powerful dancefloor experiences of expression and healing. Loved by audiences from NYC to Mexico, Brazil, Ibiza, Australia, and Burning Man, his performances are both deeply moving and electrifying.
Opening the afternoon with an Afro House Ecstatic set by two of our Plein Soleil favorites: Umi and Mr. Raven — setting the tone before we journey deeper together.

PLEIN SOLEIL presents NESSI GOMES in Montreal
Montreal is invited into a rare and heart-opening two-day immersion with British-Portuguese singer-songwriter Nessi Gomes, weaving music, voice, breath, and deep human connection.
Her soul-stirring sound has moved audiences around the world — and now she brings her magic to Montreal for a live concert + transformational workshop experience.
Nessi Gomes is a British-Portuguese songwriter whose music invites deep presence and embodied listening. Her songs don’t seek escape—they open space to feel, breathe, and meet what is alive. Moving gently between light and shadow, longing and hope, she creates soundscapes rooted in honesty, vulnerability, and connection. Currently writing her second album, Nessi continues to explore the quiet courage it takes to stay open—in music, in movement, and in community.

Tuesday June 2nd: Nessi Gomes Vocal Odyssey: Voice Exploration workshop
Vocal Odyssey is a deep yet playful self-inquiry into the mystery and healing power of our most intimate instrument — the voice.
This journey invites us beyond the noise of the mind and into a more honest, alive relationship with our vocal expression.
Together, we reconnect with the simple, natural way of expressing our authentic voice — beyond judgment, beliefs, and conditioning.
Wednesday June 3rd Nessi Gomes Live Concert, Opening Thomas Carbou, MC Marianne Derycke
Nessi Gomes comes to Montreal for an intimate, heart-opening concert. Her music weaves a warm, cosy atmosphere that invites presence, emotion, and deep listening.
The evening opens with the immersive soundscapes of Thomas Carbou, gently setting the tone for the night.
